Who we are:
A group of family members and unpaid caregivers supporting an adult with a developmental disability. The Network is peer-based and led by families. It was launched in November 2023 with a grant from the Ontario Caregiver Organization.
We offer low or no-cost social events and workshops on topics requested by our members. Our adult siblings run dinner and conversation meet-ups. Our Family Network is led and run by volunteers.
What we do:
- build connections and friendships
- support members through networking, education and socializing
- connect members to opportunities, supports and information that help their family member reach their goals
